Sarah Chalke in “Mama’s Boy”

Sarah Chalke, star of NBC’s Scrubs is in the new movie “Mama’s Boy” released on December 21st. The movie is about a slacker played by “Napoleon Dynamite” star John Heder, who still lives at home at the age of 29! His mother played by Diane Keeton hires some Self Help doctor/guru played by Jeff Daniels to get him into the game. Should be a pretty decent movie. Lots of “A” list talent in there.
Of course hearts are broken everywhere last year when we all learned she is now married to entertainment lawyer Jaime Afifi.
Finishing the last season of Scrubs this year will no doubt be a bitter sweet time for Chalke, She has been in the business for a long time especially Television. She is just coming off another independent movie “Chaos Theory” starring Ryan Reynolds (Blade III, Smokin’ Aces”) Another movie that has had nothing but great reviews, but due to the fact that most independent movies will never see the box office numbers they should little have seen the great performances that the movie is wrapped around.
We all know its time for her to be the movie star she was born to be. We all hate to see scrubs go, but we all know her future is nothing but bright!
